We rebuilt Middle East’s war-torn heritage in Minecraft
The war in the Middle East is causing thousands of deaths, the biggest refugee crisis in history, and yet another tearful tragedy: the destruction of world heritage. How can we keep these monuments in the memory of future generations? With Minecraft. So we created an educational program that helps kids to rebuild replicas of destroyed sites, while also learning about their culture and history. The project is currently supported by a network of hundreds of teachers, involving more than 30 thousand students in 34 different countries.
